A couple days ago the Rockford IceHogs sent goalie Joe Palmer to the Central Hockey League (CHL) to play for the Texas Brahmas. This move in significant because Palmer is assigned to a team not affiliated with the Chicago Blackhawks organization.
Palmer could be considered the lowest rated goalie in the Blackhawks’ system. He will, however, see more time in net as a result to this transaction.
