Jack Skille
Jack Skille will suit up for the Blackhawks tonight at the United Center vs. the Colorado Avalanche – he was recalled from the IceHogs this morning.
The organization also waived winger Radek Smolenak who was eventually picked up by his former team, Tampa Bay Lightning. I guess he didn’t impress anyone when he lost a fight with Brad May and missing a shot on an open net against the Red Wings.
Skille will take over Ben Eager’s role on the fourth line tonight. He would have been called up sooner if he wasn’t injured in pre-season play, and he has yet to see ice-time in a game for the IceHogs yet. Don’t expect to see much of Skille tonight, and his time with the Blackhawks might be short lived.
