The Blackhawks claimed forward Andrew Ebbett off waivers from the Anaheim Ducks this afternoon. This is yet another move made during the Stan Bowman era where he acquired another borderline AHL/NHL talent. The addition of Ebbett indicates that the organization expects Ben Eager out longer with post concussion problems.
Also the Blackhawks recalled Jack Skille from the IceHogs once again. The practice of reassigning him to Rockford and recalling him to Chicago will continue till players start returning from the injured reserve.
