As he does after every Blackhawks game this season, Jack Skille was reassigned to Rockford, but this time it doesn’t look like he will return to the NHL roster for the next game vs. the Vancouver Canucks. The newly acquired Andrew Ebbett will take over for Skille on the fourth line and play on the wing.
Ebbett has more experience at this level, and had a productive season last year tallied thirty-two points in forty-eight games (8 goals, 24 assists) with the Anaheim Ducks. The other side of this story is that Ebbett is a cheaper option at $475,000 to Skille’s $1.25M.
