Jake Dowell was reassigned to the Rockford IceHogs. There has yet to be any report about the Jonathan Toews injury situation, but this could indicate that the captain is ready to return to the lineup vs. the Minnesota Wild. We will obviously find out more of this as it nears game-time. Both Toews and Brent Seabrook missed Sunday’s practice.

At the time this entry was published the IceHogs haven’t reported the transaction on their site, so Dowell could be receiving the Jack Skille treatment and be ‘recalled’ before the game.
