Three Returned To Toledo Last Week

There was some movement over the long Thanksgiving break a couple players were reassigned to Toledo (ECHL) from Rockford (AHL). In the last week defensemen Jonathan Carlsson and J.C. Sawyer along with goaltender Alec Richards were returned to the Walleye.

Richards stole a few starts from Corey Crawford in his time with the IceHogs. In two games in the AHL, Richards was 1-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.54.

In related news, the IceHogs signed veteran goaltender Dan Cloutier to a professional try-out agreement. I don’t know much of what happens in Rockford, but Crawford can’t get a start.

Changes have been reflected on our In the Organization page above.

  1. Forklift says:

Crawford can’t get a start because he’s been less than good this year.

  2. Leigh Dengis says:

Crawford hasn’t been good, but you would think he’d get a start since November 13th at least.
